BALL DROP GAME is online but intimate. The universe reports maxPlayers: 7 and createVipServersAllowed: false. You will never get a 50-player plaza. You also cannot hide on a VIP box. That design is why referrals are rare and why collision etiquette matters.

Solo vs friends

Official description: play solo or with friends, compete for gems. Solo can complete tutorial, cubes, daily, Bingo, Ball Obby, and collectibles. Friends add three things:

1. Gem competition on the same server.
2. Referral counters toward 20 Referral Champion (~80 awards) and 40 Referral Ultimate Connector (~51 awards).
3. Someone to hold a camera while you test a rail.

If nobody will join, ignore this page and stay on maze and drops. The activities tier list already drops referrals to C without a friends list.

How referrals actually work

Roblox referrals for experiences usually mean: your friends join this place, often through your profile or a shared link, and the experience credits the invite. Zapshot’s 2024 short said 20 friends unlock a teddy backpack UGC. The badges confirm 20 and 40 thresholds exist and are extremely uncommon.

Practical rules:

• They must join place 16273429138, not a copycat.
• Alts on the same household may or may not count; do not bank a UGC plan on alts.
• Being in the Zapshot group does not equal a referral.
• After 20, screenshot inventory immediately. Limited UGC can still exhaust.

Invite glasses (almost unused limited)

A second invite cosmetic exists and this wiki did not have a row for it until the August 2026 recheck: Zapshot Glasses Invite Your Friend (asset 119317974083182). Catalog copy says the yellow-green glasses are free if you invite friends. Rechecked stock on 30 August 2026: 99 of 100 original copies remaining, in-experience, purchase limit 1, ~16.7k favorites. First indexed 21 May 2025 — the same week Bingo and Valid Secret Code badges were created.

That is the opposite stock story from the yellow teddy (4 / 100). If you only have one or two friends who will actually join, send them now for the glasses; do not sit on a 20-referral plan while four teddies evaporate. Full catalog table: UGC catalog. Server etiquette (this is the real skill)

• Do not stand on someone else’s yellow track. You will delete their cubes and their patience.
• Ask before firing Zap Gun toward a collector.
• If you are teaching Getting Started, let them claim Daily and codes before you teleport them to Ball Obby.
• Seven players plus balls will lag low-end phones. Host should drop graphics first, not mock the person whose cubes freeze.
• Voice chat is not supported on the universe listing. Use Discord or Roblox text.

Gems

Gems are the compete layer. They are not documented as a PvP KO system. Farm them through a working maze, not by camping another plot. If a player is AFK on your collector, rejoin — with only six other slots, a new server is cheap.

What friends should install in their brain

Send them this wiki, not a 40-screenshot Discord dump: How to Play, Codes, daily rewards. If they only care about the teddy, they still need to spawn fully or the experience may not credit the join.

When multiplayer is the wrong goal

If you need Drop 100 Cubes, a friend on the rail is negative value. If you need Valid Secret Code, friends cannot type it for you. If you need FireBall Punch, split up and search — see collectibles. Meet back in the lobby.

Track 20 / 40 on the badge tracker and on badges. If a friend is new, walk them through Getting Started on voice or text before you drag them into Ball Obby; a failed tutorial means the HUD (and sometimes the referral credit) never unlocks. Official spawn: BALL DROP GAME.
